Spend an evening shredding potatoes and onions, sharing family latke recipes, and telling stories about the miracle of lights with our JFCS young adult disability Shupin Community. Join JFCS' Young Professional Community Connection and meet new friends and give back to our community while enjoying good food, many laughs, and great tunes! We will be having multiple cooking stations for latkes as well as other side dishes. Even if you don't have the finest culinary skills, we guarantee you will have an amazing experience volunteering with this group!

JFCS’ Young Professional Community Connection is a new program designed to create monthly volunteer opportunities for professionals in their 20’s and 30’s who are looking for ongoing and meaningful experiences. The project has a unique structure, which incorporates training from field experts at JFCS, and followed by direct service projects after each training; all guided by Jewish values. It also includes a social component, where volunteers are able to meet other young professionals interested in giving back to the community.
Projects are typically held on the third Wednesday of each month. Find out more about the Young Professional Community Connection here >
