Why are We Celebrating?
Latinos in Social Media (LATISM), the largest organization of Latinos engaged in Social Media announced today that it will celebrate its upcoming LATISM ’11 conference with a 7,400 square foot digital billboard atop the world-renowned Reuters sign at 3 Times Square, New York City on October 28, 2011 at 6:30 pm.
As the world's largest digital display system, the Reuters sign soars 23 stories into the sky above Times Square, reaching more than 1.5 million people per day. The billboard was made possible thanks to a partnership with PR NewsWire, one of the LATISM '11 conference's media partners.
Where are we Celebrating?
To accompany the unveiling of the billboard, the chapter has also organized a tweetup immediately following it, which will take place at the Heineken NYC Offices, located at 245 Park Avenue, 40th Floor, between 46 & 47 Street, New York, NY. During the tweetup, several lucky winners will also have a chance to win tickets to the conference, one of the most anticipated social media events of the year.

There will be an Open Bar from 7-9pm in the evening. Please ensure you have proper ID, as you will not be allowed to enter the party if you are under 21 or without ID.
