Join us for Latinx Making Money Moves. A panel discussion that will highlight how to manage, invest, budget and save your money! The Special Guest is Financial expert & TEDx Speaker Natalie Torres-Haddad who will be sharing her expert advice along with a panel of Latinx's who will be sharing their stories from starting their own businesses to mananging successful careers and creating a stable financial future!

Every guest will receive a copy of Natalie's book, Financially Savvy in 20 Minutes along with other goodies. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go towards Girls on the Run of Bexar County.

Natalie Torres-Haddad MPA, AWA The First American Latina, Immigrant TEDx Speaker advocating on the importance of financial literacy and mental health titled "The Foreign Language of Financial Literacy". An International Award Winning Author in the Economics category for her first book in 2012, a bilingual podcast host of Financially Savvy in 20 minutes, a real estate investor and a workshop facilitator and International keynote speaker for Financial literacy. Her activities have been featured in the Huffington Post, LA Times, LA Business Journal and more. A first generation College Graduate with Degrees in Finance and International Business with a Masters in public Administration and resides in Los Angeles with her husband and 2 dogs. As of last Thursday her feature on 60 second docs has gone viral with over 800,000 views showcasing her story on how she focuses helping first gen college grads, immigrants and latinos to keep working towards their financial independence.

Maximo Anguiano is an actor, activist, athlete, creative, entrepreneur, public intellectual, personality, organizer, and thought-leader out of San Antonio, Texas. He has emerged as one of the most talented and dynamic individuals of his generation. As a critical, intellectual voice on the intersection of culture, sociopolitics, and racial justice, Maximo is a champion of the Latinx/a/o community and a true cross-pollinator of innovation. As a Master’s of Science candidate at Grand Valley State University, Maximo studied at Macquarie University in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia where he completed an ethnographic case study on the colonialism of the Indigenous Australian population—the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. Through various community, artistic, and educational works, Maximo's passion & charisma have electrified crowds; bringing a fresh, progressive and driven approach to changing the world. His recent film & theatre credits include, “La Llorona,” “Jotos del Barrio,” and “Dos Chicanos, Un Camino.” He has also recently been featured with various organizations such as Voto Latino, Latino Justice PRLDEF, My Brother’s Keeper San Antonio, NPR Latino USA, Univision News, the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), the Texas Organizing Project (TOP), the Council for Latino Workplace Equity, the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Theatre for Change, and many more. Marisa Hernandez is a Lifestyle Blogger and cultural content creator for her Blog MexiMoments.com and founder, host and producer of Girl Talk y Más Podcast based in San Antonio Texas. Her passion for sharing stories of empowerment and uplifting journeys was the inspiration behind creating her social media platforms. Marisa’s goal is to continue to empower women and young girls to follow their dreams, share their stories and support their community! Originally born and raised in Detroit Mi where she studied Television and Radio Broadcasting at Specs Howard of Broadcast Art, Television Communications at Madonna University and Business Marketing at Baker College School of Business. Her professional background over the last 20 years includes working in traditional media advertising for a range of broadcast networks including, NBC, CBS, FOX, A&E and iHeart Media. Marisa lives in San Antonio with her fiancé and teenage daughter and enjoys writing, watching sports, and spending time with her family at the beach! Byrdie Franco-Rocha is a multi-faceted leader based in San Antonio, TX. As the Marketing and Sales director at The Lozano Law Firm PLLC, she fulfills her talent for helping small business by leading the firm in innovation and growth while having the opportunity to serve a diverse community. “I believes that each day is an opportunity to be creative, exercise experience and learn something new.” That belief is what manifested BSoFly.com, originally a blog turned brand inspired by a play on her name and documenting her own experiences and lessons as a entrepreneur and creative in real estate, influencer for brands like Verizon and marketing consultant. Byrdie shares her knowledge through public speaking at universities such as Sul Ross and UIW. She has also presented conferences such as LATISM, TAMACC, NAHJ, Latina Style Magazine Business Summit and SXSW. Byrdie serves on the planning committee for Women's Global Connection. Byrdie holds a bachelors degree in business from UIW, a masters degree in broadcast journalism from UNT and is a graduate of SMU's Marketing Program. Denise Cabello was born and raised in San Antonio. Denise graduated from John Marshall High School and UTSA. After a long career as a cheerleading coach, Denise started pursing her Master's degree at UTSA. That's when her journey in television started. In 2012, Denise started interning for San Antonio Living. She was then brought on to the crew as a Production Assistant handling a huge studio camera. While working as a production assistant, Denise became the "Facebook girl" sharing your social media comments on San Antonio Living. From there, she became an Associate Producer and Editor for San Antonio Living. Now you know her as a fill-in Co-Host for San Antonio Living and a Correspondent for San Antonio Living and Daytime at Nine. When Denise is not on TV, she enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband are excited to expand their family with their first baby girl. She loves sports. You can also find her as an Emcee for the San Antonio Missions Baseball team. Denise also likes playing with her pups and watching movies while eating lots and lots of popcorn.
