On December 1- 2, 2016, The Latino Institute for Corporate Inclusion (LICI) in partnership with The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) and several national Latino organizations will host the first annual Latino Tech Summit in the international tech capital of the world, Silicon Valley, CA. The goal of the summit is to bridge technology companies, institutions of higher learning and tech organizations to fast-track Latinos into the world of software development, ICT careers, designer and tech entrepreneur to develop a collaborative action plan that will result in more Latinos being hired into this industry.
Set on the historic campus of the University of Santa Clara in San Jose, CA, the Summit will bring together the innovative companies in technology from around the country, colleges and universities, community organizations, entrepreneurs and tech think-tanks to create solutions that will help develop Latinos into the workforce of the future.
The summit will consist of five tracks as outlined below:
Thursday, Dec 1st- Corporate Diversity with an Employee Resource Group Focus, Non- profit and Entrepreneurship
Friday, Dec 2nd- Youth and College Students/ Young Professionals
