About this event
The Latino Media Summit (LMS) is an annual gathering of the best in Latinx journalism, hosted by the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY in New York. The #LMS22 is a hybrid, bilingual Spanish-English, two-day event that brings together elite journalists, entrepreneurs, artists, and industry leaders to celebrate and converse in meaningful ways about the ideas, innovations, and opportunities for Latinx journalism and its community.
The LMS sessions will take place in a dynamic combination of formats, designed to enrich the experience of both our in-person and virtual audiences:

Venue
This year, the LMS venue will be The Clemente Soto Vélez Cultural and Educational Center (The Clemente), a premiere Puerto Rican and Latinx cultural institution housed in a beautiful, historic landmark building on New York City’s Lower East Side. Teatro SEA, a leading bilingual arts-in-education organization and Latino children’s theater, also resides in The Clemente and will host select LMS 2022 sessions. We are delighted to join forces with these Latinx institutions and ready to welcome you all!

About the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism
The Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, founded in 2006, has become nationally recognized for its innovative programs.
