LATIN AMERICAN MOVIE CLUB

Wellbeing for Communities, a not-for-profit community group dedicated to assisiting Latin American immigrants and students to integrate into local communities, and the Consulado de Colombia en Sidney invites you to join us for our Latin American Movie Club! Once a month, we will be meeting to watch an iconic movie from Latin American, followed by a culture and language exchange where we will discuss the movie in both English and Spanish.
This Thursday, we are hosting our second event! We will be showing 'La Sirga', a drama from Colombia.
Spanish students, come along to meet native Spanish speakers, practice your Spanish and learn about Latin American cultures!
Spanish speakers, this an opportunity for you to practice your English, and meet local students!
Anyone with an interest in learning Spanish, English or more about Latin American culture is encouraged to come along. All levels of Spanish and English are welcome. The event is totally free, and drinks and snacks will be provided :) There are a limited number of places, so make sure you get a ticket to avoid missing out.
WHEN? Thursday the 20th of October, at 5pm.
WHAT? A Spanish movie night and language exchange.
WHERE? 150 Adelaide Street (only two minutes walk from Queen Street, Central Station and King George Square). Look for a sign near Ted's Cameras that says "The Seedbed" and come up the stairs.
