Have you always wanted to decrease chances of developing heart disease, protect your body from harmful inflammation, improve your memory, lead healthy and mindful lifestyle and enjoy doing it? The Mediterranean Diet is not a diet plan, but a lifestyle that can bring positive health benefits by incorporating fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and oils. This workshop will introduce the origins and science behind the Mediterranean Dietary Lifestyle.

Participants will discover the numerous health benefits of following the Mediterranean Dietary Lifestyle. They will learn simple steps for shopping, cooking, and try samples of Mediterranean dishes.

Anna Dimant MS, RDN is passionate about food, nutrition, and education. Her goal is to help her clients to develop positive relationships with food. Anna holds a master's degree in Nutrition from Brooklyn College, City University of New York. She received her BS in Food and Nutrition Science from Hunter College, CUNY of New York. Anna lives in Mountain View with her husband and two sons who are her "Food Critics". In Anna's free time, she scouts around local farmer's markets, farms, and gardens.
