Guided Cocktail Making Class - Main Room:

We kick off our happy hour with a guided cocktail making class by our Seattle based brand ambassador, Stephanie Olsen.

Each month, you'll have the option of purchasing a cocktail kit - including alcohol, mixers, and a bunch of brand swag - ahead of the event. When the happy hour starts, Stephanie will guide us through constructing your custom drink (in an informative session), that you'll take with you to your selected breakout room.

The Casual Networking Room is EXACTLY what you think it is! It's the most casual, laid back version of networking that can be had in a virtual world.

This month, we're hosting a virtual game and will be keeping it light, fun, and competitive. Get ready to have a fun time!

Think of the Career Connect Room like a virtual jobs fair, where you get to have a casual conversation with your peers, a career coach and a hiring manager or recruiter from a company looking to fill roles while picking up tips and tricks to stand out when applying for a position. 

You can do this, all while having a drink, and nobody will judge!

The topic for this month's Current Events Room is Black History and the BLM movement in 2021.

Our room will be cohosted by Kesha and Sara, founders of The Ally League.

The Current Events Room is a place to share information, thoughts, ideas, and experiences, all while enjoying your favorite drink. Each month, the room will leverage a digital resource as a tool to help carry the conversation.

History of the "Last Tuesday" Happy Hour

Launched back in 2011, Last Tuesday is a casual networking happy hour event (no name tags, no sales pitches, no judgment) that falls on the last Tuesday of every month.

Pre-Covid, the YPOSeattle events team would pick various venues throughout the city to host 200 or so of Seattle’s best, in an effort to better connect the most ambitious and motivated individuals in the community. Think of this as an intro to networking, or a laid back way for the power networker, the job seeker, recruiter or business owner to meet and interact with hundreds of other young professionals.

Well, the world is different now. Your health and safety are our priority so virtual is our new reality. So we changed things around to accommodate for the new landscape while maintaining our signature YPOSeattle happy hour style
