Staged reading of LAST ROOM, a play inspired by Anthony Bourdain, Caveat NYC, June 15, 2022

About this event

Join us for a staged reading of Last Room, a play inspired by Anthony Bourdain, featuring Jonathan Dauermann, directed by Anna Rebek, and written by Mitch Moxley.

Last Room is the story of a solitary traveler in a hotel room—somewhere—unable to leave, unsure of where he came from, how he got there, or where he’s trying to go. The premise is drawn from a dream Bourdain described in an episode of his show Parts Unknown. The play is a meditation on the meaning of home, the joy and loneliness of travel, and the conflict between fantasy and reality.
