LASER Talks at Augusta
Experience this engaging forum organized by the Department of Art for innovative leaders in art and science to share their creative research through brief presentations and interactive panel discussion. The evening begins with Community Share. Be prepared to tell us about your creative interests. This is the second of four LASER Talks this academic year. The Department of Art presents LASER Talks as an affiliate member of Leonardo/the International Society for Arts Sciences and Technology. Each talk is hosted collaboratively by a different college within the university.

Awarded 2016 Trombonist of the year by Jazz Journalists Association, Mr. Gordon is a renowned Musician, Composer, Conductor and Arranger. He was also Downbeat Magazine’s Critics Choice Award Best Trombone 2016, 2014, 2013 and 2012.
Mallory Lanier, Steps of Grace: Ballet for Special Needs
Ms. Lanier is Assistant Professor in the School of Occupational Therapy. She serves as the director of the Low Vision Rehabilitation Clinic
Jiri Rosicky Synergy of Art, Design & Engineering in Anaplastology, Prosthetics & Orthotics
Mr. Rosicky is the CEO of Invent Medical Group. His focus is on Direct Digital Manufacturing (3D scanning, computational modelling, 3D printing), integrated systems for online diagnostics and multidisciplinary cooperation with universities, clinical and industrial partners.
