Celebrated Chinese artist and activist Ai Weiwei raises urgent questions about human rights and freedom of expression in this exhibition of new work created for Alcatraz, a notorious penitentiary turned national park. Inviting visitors into historic spaces that have usually been off limits to the public, @Large reveals unexpected perspectives on Alcatraz and its layered legacy.
