Description

Come stroll through historic Pioneer Village for this family-friendly event. You will be wowed by the faint light of jack-o-lanterns while listening to spooky tales (Flashlights Optional).
Free Parking ~ RAIN OR SHINE Children two and under are FREE

HELP us exceed last year's goal of 100+ jack-o-lanterns!! Without pumpkins, this fundraising event will not be possible!

Please support us by donating a freshly carved pumpkin for our display.

Carved pumpkins will be collected on Saturday, October 7th. from 9- 12 pm at Pioneer Village @ Forest River Park, Salem, MA (At the end of West Ave).

Lanterns in the Village is a fundraiser for Collins Middle School PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports), Salem. 100% of the proceeds will support PBIS!

FAQs

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

There is not an age limit for this event. This is a family friendly-event. It is not like a haunted house. Nothing will jump out at you. The spookiest part of the event is that it is set in the dark. You have the option to enter the houses where the stories are being told.

What are my parking options at the event?

Parking is Free at Forest River Park. There is a large parking lot at Forest River Park.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Dogs are not allowed, unless you require a service dog. You can bring flashlights to assist you in the dark. There are some lights, but lighting is limited. Alcohol is not permitted in the Village.

Sorry. Tickets not transferrable or refundable.

Can you purchase tickets at the door?

Tickets may be purchased online only. When the tickets sell-out, they sell-out. There will be a second night on Sunday, October 8th from 6:30 to 9:30pm. Proceeds from Sunday night support Pioneer Village. Please visit www.pioneervillagesalem.org for more information. Link to Ticket sales for October 8th to posted soon.

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Yes, to see the pumpkins, however, the terrain is a bit bumpy. Unfortunately, there aren't any ramps leading into the houses of the Village.

How long does it take to complete the event?

The event is divided into four 45-minute intervals. 6:30-7:15pm, 7:15-8:00pm, 8:00-8:45pm and 8:45-9:30pm. You choose the best 45 minutes for you. Each ticket is $7.00 each. Children 2 and under are FREE. You will be asked to enter at the gate and then exit at the rear of the Village. Staff will be there directing people in and out of the venue. We ask that patrons be cooperative and mindful of the next group that will be viewing the event.
