Short screening + Discussion + Tasting

An introduction to the iconic foods and production landscapes of Extremadura and their most precious result: the Iberian Ham.

A short visual introduction followed by a conversation on the value of traditional food knowledge, respectful food production, and the deliciousness of terroir. With US food expert and scholar, Fabio Parasecoli (The New School), Iberian Ham Producer Diego Pastor (Montaraz Ham), and Distributor Jonathan Harris (La Tienda), moderated by Janet Chrzan (University of Pennsylvania).

Includes exclusive tasting of Iberian ham, regional cheeses and wines from the region.

This event is part of Eat Spain Up!, a month-long program of activities about gastronomy and Spain.
