Description

Project Y Theatre Company, in partnership with EAG's Open Space Grant, presents "Landmarks & TRANSformations" for a limited run this February 2017.

The award-winning Project Y Theatre Company will present a new work of devised theatre, “Landmarks & TRANSformations” created by an ensemble of LGBTQ artists, writers, performers, and activists, this February 18, 19, 23, 24, & 25, at the Episcopal Actors' Guild, 1 East 29th Street, NYC. More about the Episcopal Actors' Guild and their mission can be found at www.actorsguild.org

In “Landmarks & TRANSformations” Project Y Theatre teams up with Episcopal Actors' Guild to focus on individual LGBTQ lives in 2017 and create –with the audience – new everyday queer rituals from the crazy concoction of tears, terror, laughter, and love that is a sign of the times.

From the “Bathroom Bill” to Marriage Equality to the 2016 Election: LGBTQ lives are in transition in America. Project Y Theatre Company wants you to see some of the unique people who are living on this roller coaster of rights given and rights revoked. “Landmarks & TRANSformations” is a collaborative and community-building piece about landmark moments in individual LGBTQ lives and a celebration of new queer rituals.
