Event description

Description

Can changes in land use save us from climate change? Land use produces around a quarter of the world's greenhouse gases so cutting this is critical. Does it matter what we eat and what we grow? Do we need more trees?

In the fourth of six talks Nikki Jones MSc, independent researcher/writer, hosted by the Redland Energy Group. There will be time for questions and discussion.

The event is free. All are welcome.

For more information on Nikki Jones, see www.aiming1point5degrees.co.uk

Tuesday 12th March - UK Energy, Emissions and Targets

Tuesday 19th March - Is Nuclear the Answer?

Tuesday 2nd April - The Way Forward

Tuesday 9th April - Discussion: Does local / individual action matter? Why has Bristol led the country in declaring a climate emergency? Where do we go from here?
