Lanco MG Club's 2023 Taste of Britain & Classic European Vehicle Show

The Lanco MG Club's 33rd annual "Taste of Britain" is a British and classic European Vehicle show along with a Polo match between the Lancaster Polo Club and a regional competing team.

NEW THIS YEAR! - As well as British vehicles, now open to ALL European marques classic or antique vehicles. (1998 or previous.)

The car show is a non-judged event. Bring your vehicle - in any condition - to this informal gathering of like-minded individuals. Meet old friends, make new friends, link up with others that have, or have had, your same marque and model of car. Trade "war stories" and technical help.

The Lancaster Polo Club will hold a regulation Polo match against a team from the region beginning at 2:30 p.m. The six-"chucker" match typically finishes around 5:00 p.m. Bring your chairs or blanket and picnic basket to use while viewing the match.

A food truck will also be available until approximately 2:30 p.m. for purchasing refreshments. A large tent with tables and chairs will also be provided for your use. Dash plagues will be given for the first 100 registered vehicles. The car show will be held "rain or shine".

Announcing the "Proper English Hat Contest": Ladies and gentlemen, we are offering a prize to the best men's and best ladies' headwear. So come wearing your best British hat. FREE to enter. Judging and Hat awards presentation at the Regalia tent at NOON.

Notes:

• Pre-registration cost through August 19th is $25 per vehicle. After August 19th and Day-of-Show the registration fee is $30 per vehicle. PLEASE PRE-REGISTER!
• Registration fees include credit card and Eventbrite processing costs. These will NOT be charged to you separately!
• For those not registering a vehicle for the show but attending to spectate the polo match or to view the car show a $5.00 per person CASH admission fee will be collected at the gate by the Polo Club (or Lanco MG) staff. If you intend to view the show cars plan to arrive BEFORE 2:00 as many of the show attendees leave before the polo match begins at 2:30.
