Lampwork Lofts Revised: Mazda Light Bulb Factory Adaptive Use Project Tour

Revisit the the Lampwork Lofts adaptive use project with OHA! Frank Flores, Development Director, will give us a tour of Madison Park Finanical's conversion of the historic four-story brick Mazda Light Bulb Factory into 92 for-rent live/work residential units.
The building was originally built in 1919 and served as the manufacturing facility for General Electric’s Mazda Lamps. The building also has the distinction of being the first industrial facility on the West Coast to employ women.
Madison Park Financial has met National Park Service requirements for funding rehabilitation of this 115,000 square foot building with Federal Historic Tax credits. The project has is expected to be completed in Summer 2014.
