Event description

Description

It is time for a new image: Lambrusco over the past years has shed its past connotations and is known for its unique ability to unite terroir, character, tradition and joie de vivre like no other wine! On 6th June, the Consortium of Lambrusco invites you to join them and a handful of producers for an event aimed at (re)discovering Lambrusco and its many facets.

Unpretentious, versatile, authentic: Lambrusco is the perfect everyday wine and there are so many types to discover! From 6pm to 8pm you'll be able to taste and enjoy a range of Lambrusco wines, served by some of the producers themselves. To go with the wine, we'll also have some delicacies of the region: Prosciutto di Parma, Mortadella, Risotto with Parmiggiano Reggiano and Balsamic vinegar from Modena, traditional erbazzone...

At 6.15 pm Jossi Loibl, Editor of DelicatEssen Magazine and a passionate Lambrusco-lover, will lead a brief masterclass though the varieties of Lambrusco on the market to help you discover which of the many varieties really tickles your taste buds.

Lambrusco makes a difference: The Consorzio Lambrusco has very kindly decided to donate all ticket proceeds (100%) to the charity the Sticky Fingers Family Foundation which supports families of children with rare diseases in the Munich area. Normally tickets would cost 10 euro for this event but if by accepting payments prior, we would lose a considerable amount of your money to VAT and ticket management fees. In creating "Donation on the Door" tickets, we trust you to reserve your space and attend the event making the choice to donate the amount you feel happy with when you arrive. Below you will find more information about the Sticky Fingers Family Foundation. More specifically, the money donated for this event will contribute to fund workshops for local families on the benefits of blenderized diets and thus improve the quality of life for children with rare diseases.
