Lakewood Ranch Tribute to Heroes Parade

Each year thousands of attendees line Lakewood Main Street in support of our local veterans and heroes! We want YOU to get involved in this community event.

Businesses, groups, non-profits & more that wish to participate may be included in the parade procession or opt to become an event sponsor.

Donations of any amount will also be accepted in lieu of event participation and donated to The Del Webb Lakewood Ranch Association of Veterans and Military Supporters and VFW Post 12055.

PRE-BLOCK PARTY STARTS ON LWR MAIN STREET AT 6PM, PARADE STARTS AT 7PM

Participation requirements: Please email us at info@lwrca.org for questions regarding parade participation. Businesses and non-profits that wish to participate may be included in the parade procession or opt to sponsor the event and/or a stationary booth. Donations of any amount will also be accepted in lieu of event participation. Items may be handed to spectators, not tossed. Themes should be appropriate for children and tied into the theme of Memorial Day and our Tribute to Heroes. Group representatives are responsible for informing their participants of parade requirements, rules, time, location, parking and any other necessary details. Parents or group leaders are responsible for their children at all times, including the staging area, in the parade procession, and at the conclusion of the parade. A parent, guardian or group leader MUST be present at the event at all times. No child may be “dropped off” or left unaccompanied at any time. Smoking or the Drinking of Alcoholic beverages will not be allowed in the staging area or during the parade procession.

LIABILITY RELEASE: By purchasing tickets to/attending this event, I/we assume all risk of bodily injury or property damage that I/we may incur while participating in the Memorial Day Parade. I/We herby, for myself, my children, my heirs, estate, executors and administrators do expressly and forever waive and release from any and all claims and agree to hold harmless Lakewood Ranch Community Activities, Lakewood Ranch Main Street and their respective officers, employees, volunteers, agents, representatives, successors, or assigns of any kind from any and all claims which may be made for any cause or reason whatsoever arising as a result of or in connection with the participation of me, my groups, or my children in the herein mentioned event.
