Event description

Tassie Bound Adventure Tours is very excited to launch our first overnight Tasmanian kayaking adventure on Lake Pedder. Over 2 days, you'll find yourself immersed deep within Tasmania's World Heritage Listed Southwest National Park, far from civilisation, disconected from the everyday but deeply connected to mother nature.

Don’t miss this incredible OVERNIGHT TASMANIAN WILDERNESS adventure. There are only 8 SPOTS on our first trip so BOOK NOW as places will fill quickly. Weekend includes transfers to and from Hobart, 2 experienced local kayak guides, delicious meals prepared with local and in-season local produce and all premium kayak and safety equipment.

This is a pristine patch of Tassie and despite the huge controversy involving the flooding of the lake back in the 1970s, is now regarded as one of the most underated kayaking destinations. Stretching out across 242km², there is 45 islands and hundreds of private beaches to explore. Sit back and soak in the beauty of six hundred thousands hectares of wild inspiring country while exploring Lake Pedder’s amber waters, secret quartzite beaches & learn about the facinating history of the region. Watch the sun disapear behind mountains and fall asleep to the sounds of waves gently rolling up on to the shore nearby!

Children 12 and up are welcome but must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
