Career Ladders Project will lead an informative webinar focused on LEARNING COMMUNITIES.

Learning Communities are groups of students enroll together in two or more courses. Learning communities often feature thematically linked courses and offer an integrated curriculum that helps students to see connections between disciplines.

These experiences are expected to engage students and to ultimately improve their academic outcomes, including passing courses, persisting to the following semester, and earning a degree or certificate.


Topics to Be Discussed:

  • What are Learning Communities?

  • Creating and Strengthening Learning Communities

  • Learning Community Case Study

  • LAHC Discussion Related to Learning Communities


Who Should Participate: Faculty, Program Administrators, Pathway Coordinators. Counselors & staff. STEM faculty are strongly encouraged to attend.

A $50 stipend is provided for Faculty participation. Funds are limited, so please register right away if you wish to receive a stipend for this learning opportunity. FACULTY MUST BE PRESENT to receive stipend.
