Lagunitas Loopfest

Join us to raise funds for the 2026 Tor de Lucas Scholarship...or maybe just to get in a good training "run"! The goal is to do as many loops as you can between sunrise and sunset. Or to see how consistently you can pace your loops. Or to do just one loop: really, it's up to you. If you can donate something for each loop, so much the better (recommended donation is $20 per loop, but it's whatever you can afford).

Date: January 3rd, 2026

Start time: 7:30 am sharp. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early so we have time to set up the "aid station" and have a quick pre-run briefing.

Location: Lake Lagunitas Parking Lot. Parking is $8 per car; carpool if you can.

Details: We'll start at the Lake Lagunitas parking lot and alternate clockwise and counterclockwise loops up and down Mt. Tam. The parking area has running water, but we'll also reserve a table to use as an aid station. Bring whatever food/drink/fuel you like, and hopefully we'll all get to share. We won't be regrouping after each loop, as there may be substantial variation in people's times. However, because we'll alternate directions, everyone will get to see everyone else along the way.

Prizes: There will be prizes for most loops, fastest loop, slowest loop, and most consistently paced loops. Thank you to LightBelt, Victory Sportdesign, East Peak, and Katemi for their generous donations to our prizes!

Loop/pledge tracking: Once RSVPed, we will send you a link to a Google Sheet where we will track pledges and loops.

Scholarship: The Tor de Lucas Scholarship will provide entry and financial support to one adventurous individual interested in participating in the 2026Tor des Geants 330k in Italy.

Donations are optional. They can be made here at any time, on January 3rd using a QR code, or after you've completed your loops.
