Lagers & Laughs Comedy Night

Join us on June, 10th as we welcome three hilariously awesome comedians to the brewery for a night of lagers and laughs!

Meet the comedians-

Belynda Cleare

Unfortunately, Belynda Cleare’s comedic, writing, and performing abilities are often overshadowed by her striking resemblance to Beyonce. Even as her stand up broaches topics like poverty, aging, and death, Belynda’s bright, warm energy brings life to every room. Since moving to Philadelphia from The Great White North (emphasis on the “White”), Belynda has shared the stage with comics like Bob Nelson and Luenell.

In 2015, she was featured on Amazon Prime’s Comics Watching Comics, and her one-woman show, Staying on the Right Side of Sanity, Diary of a Dirt Road Diva was the top grossing show in the Wilmington Fringe Festival for four years in a row. This show, which has captivated audiences from Nashville to Nova Scotia, inspired a forthcoming script that has made Belynda a finalist in the Yes And…Laughter Lab. Fox 29 News did a segment on Belynda’s use of comedy to cope with grief. Belynda is so committed to addressing mental health in comedy that she teaches a course on the topic at The Comics ROCK Convention, wherein she has been a presenter for the last 9 years.

Her festival appearances include: Black Girls Giggle, Ladies Room, Meadowland, and Ladies of Laughter. She is a frequent guest on THE HAWK radio station, has been featured on CBC’s The National and in Nova Scotia’s Guysborough Journal. Belynda can be seen on club stages all over Philadelphia, Delaware, and New York, as well as walking past Andre 3000 in a party scene in AMC’s Dispatches from Elsewhere.

Lauren LoGiudice

Lauren LoGiudice is an accomplished comedian, actor, and author of Amazon Kindle Best Seller Inside Melania: What I Know About Melania Trump by Impersonating Her. Her work has been featured by The New York Times, BBC, Bust Magazine, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, Hyperallergic, among others. Her writing has been called “criminal.” Her TV and film credits include Veep, Brave the Dark and Galaxy360. Moth StorySLAM Champ. In addition to her comedy album, Misfits: A Comedy Album you can also hear Melania Trump’s Rockin’ Right-Wing Christmas Album, available on all major streaming platforms.

Lauren delves into deeply flawed and painfully idiosyncratic characters. She has embodied some of the world's most mysterious cultural icons, including Greta Garbo, Melania Trump, Mary Poppins, and the women in her Italian-American family.

Currently, Lauren continues to work on creating comedy through the lens of her unique personal experience with videos on every platform that will let her while producing her podcast Reconcile the Aisle on Radio Misfits.

She lives in New York City where she downplays every great thing that’s ever happened to her.

James McAliney

James McAliney is a comedian, producer, and digital creator from Philadelphia. On stage his shyness and timidity get in the way as he strives to be confidently unconfident. He has shared the stage with nationally touring headliners such as Mark Normand, Stavros Halkais, and Shane Gillis and has been asked to perform at festivals such as Charm City, Camp Jam, and Beardfest.

James has produced 100’s of live comedy shows at Breweries, Wineries, Bars, Restaurants and even old airports and train stations up and down the east coast for thousands of audience members since 2019.

He is also a licensed Atlantic City licensed street performer. His docuseries 'The Comedy Diaries of James McAliney' blends the genres of Commentary, Storytime, and Vlogging and garnered over 70,000 views on YouTube. It follows his emotional and challenging journey of a comedian finding success.
