When disgraced ad man Stephen Wurth learns of his daughter’s death, the only thing more shocking than the news is where he must go to retrieve her: the North Pole. There, he’ll be embroiled in a battle for the meaning of Christmas with Santa Claus, Santa’s estranged daughter, a one-time bully, an enigmatic elf, and a host of merry eccentrics. Paul Sapp’s Lady Misrule is a darkly comedic tale from the jolliest place on Earth — a noir-ish exploration of faith, family and the dirty work of doing good deeds.
