Event description

Description

Bring a friend and enjoy a hazy, lazy paddling weekend in Stone Lodge. This laid back, free and easy weekend is perfect for a Girls Weekend Away!

Gain confidence in canoes and kayaks with other ladies in this weekend. Donna and Klara will review basic canoe and kayak strokes, followed by a lazy paddle to the far side of the lake. No experience is necessary. Paddlers of all levels are welcome, but must be comfortable swimming in deep water. If you would rather stay closer to shore, enjoy free time hiking, swimming, sunbathing or simply relaxing.

We will take meals in the Dining Hall. We will stay in Storm King Cabin or Beaver Brook Tent Platforms.

This event is led by the chapter's Harriman Program Committee Volunteer Leaders. Paddling and yoga equipment at the camp are provided free of charge courtesy of the NY-NoJ Chapter. The camp is accessible by public transportation.
