Alison Hazelbaker is one of the world's formost experts on the topics of tongue-tie and infant suck.  Join her in learning more about oral assessment tools to identify infants with breast feeding difficulties.

Intended Audience includes:  Primary Care Providers, OB/GYN, Pediatricians, Advanced Care Practitioners, Nurses, Dieticians, Lactation Councelors, Residents and Graduate Clinical Students.

The program objectives include:

  • Complete a proper oral assessment with current assessment tools for lingual frenulum function.
  • Identify sucking problems of the breastfeeding baby. 

 

ADENA HEALTH SYSTEM IS ACCREDITED BY THE OHIO STATE MEDICAL ASSOCIATION AND AMERICAN OSTEOPATHIC ASSOCIATION TO PROVIDE COUNTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION FOR PHYSICIANS. ADENA HEALTH SYSTEM DESIGNATES THIS LIVE EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY FOR A MAXIMUM OF 6 AMA PRA CATEGORY 1 CREDIT™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This program is approved for 6 credit hours of AOA Category 2-A CME credits.
