Event description

Description

From the host of the New Voices Reading Series comes a five-week, bilingual writing workshop during Latino Heritage Month for those with a story to tell who need help telling it.

We’ll cover such topics as: outlines, character and plot development, dialogue, and proper endings. Author, editor and event curator Raquel Penzo guides you through the writing process, teaching you how to listen to your characters and tell the best version of their story possible.

Free, but registration is strongly encouraged, as is commitment to the entire five weeks of the workshop.

Sundays, September 14 to October 12, 1-3PM

The workshop culminates in a reading featuring workshop participants. For more on La Pluma y La Tinta and Raquel, visit her online at RaquelPenzo.com or like her FB page at www.facebook.com/RaquelPenzo.
