Roberto Amaral began his professional career at age 17, and has since achieved international acclaim as a dancer, choreographer, master teacher, singer, composer and artist. As a singer, songwriter, musician, dancer and founding member of the progressive rock group CARMEN, Roberto and his bandmates made history as the first band to ever combine Flamenco and rock both visually and audibly. His own groundbreaking and career-spanning five Flamenco and classical Spanish dance companies have been the nucleus for which he has trained, nurtured, and presented the brightest Flamenco talent in Southern California for the past 40 years.
