Event Details

This is a 7-hour adventure in the Disneyland Resort organized by LAX Lone Scouts (WLACC) where we will be using the Disney Youth Education Series (YES) Class: DESIGN A DISNEY STORY to fulfill many of the requirements for both the ART and the ANIMATION Merit Badges...

About "Design-A-Disney-Story" Class: students will learn about the complex components that work together to bring favorite Disney characters and stories to life on the big screen. We will be learning about Walt Disney's role in the history and processes used to create early animated features as well as innovative animation techniques used to bring visions of modern storytellers to life. We will explore our own storytelling skills by planning and designing a storyboard and creating a kineograph.
