Event description

This is a Double Merit Badge Day for American Business and Entrepreneurship.

We start the day with a 2-hour walking tour with the Los Angeles Conservancy through the historical growth of Los Angeles Business - Finance and Commerce from the Industrial Revolution to present...for Scouts looking to expand their knowledge of Entrepreneurship and also work towards the American Business Merit Badge. We will be visiting small businesses in the downtown area, have lunch (Grand Central Market) and discuss the other requirements of both merit badges (Central Library).

This is NOT a drop off - all Scouts must be accompanied by an adult (21-65 years old) at the ratio of 4-Scouts to 1-adult.

Scouts will attend in their Class B with Neckerchief and bring their 10 essentials along with their worksheet/notebooks, and two (2) blue cards: one for Entrepreneurship, and one for American Business. Scouts should also bring their own lunch or money to purchase.
