La Flatland à Annie 4th edition

La Flatland a eu un facelift! Comme à l'habitude on part de Rigaud sur l’alsphalte pour se rendre en Ontario rouler de belles routes de gravelles. Deux nouveaux parcours seront au menu, tout en gardant vos pieds bien aux secs! No hike a bike cette année!

Si vous décidez de rouler « The Small Ass Ride » vous partirez visiter le coin du pays sur une distance d’environ 80km. Il y aura 1 ravito offert par Country Road Delights et La Coccinelle Sans Gluten. Aucun dépanneur, ceci est une ride plutôt autonome. En partant de Rigaud, vous allez monter la côte de la 325, votre seule côte de la journée sauf pour des petits valons ici et là! Pas de sections techniques. N’oubliez pas d’apporter 2-3 gourdes, des collations, votre kit de réparation et 1-2 chambres à air.

Le départ du 80km est à 9 :30, rencontre des participants à 9 :20 à l’entrée du stationnement

Si vous décidez de rouler « The Big Ass Ride » vous partirez découvrir un grand coin du pays sur une distance d’environ 140km. Il y aura un dépanneur à environ 40km, 1 ravito offert par Country Road Delights et La Coccinelle Sans Gluten à mi-chemin ainsi qu’un dépanneur à environ 40km de la fin. Donc apporter un peu de cash pour pouvoir remplir vos gourdes au premier et dernier ravito. En partant de Rigaud, vous allez monter la côte de la Bourget, question de vous réchauffez le corps assez rapidement merci! Il y a une section dans un sentier de 4 roues, un peu technique, mais pas trop! N’oubliez pas d’apporter 2-3 gourdes, des collations, ton kit de réparation et 1-2 chambres.

À votre retour, aller voir Cardinal Brewing pour une p’tite fret pendant que votre bike se fait laver par Vélo Station. Un gros creux? Le Mouton Café vous a préparé une boîte à lunch.

The legendary Flatland, where 7 cyclists punctured tires within a 2km radius of themselves! Is this a myth? Is it true? Come on out to find out. This is the only ride where we raise money for donkeys, yup donkeys! All proceeds will go to Primrose Donkey Sanctuary, where my 2 donkeys reside.

The Flatland got a facelift this year. Come join the after party where food and beer will await. As usual, we leave Rigaud on pavement to head over to Ontario’s beautiful gravel roads. Two new routes to keep your feet dry! No hike a bike this year!

If you decide to ride "The Small Ass Ride" you’ll ride a distance of about 80 km. There’ll be 1 feed zone offered by Country Road Delights and La Coccinelle Sans Gluten. There will be NO corner stores on this route. This is more of a self-supported ride. Starting from Rigaud, you’ll climb the hill on the 325. Pretty much your only hill of the day except for small bumps here and there! No technical sections. Don't forget to bring 2-3 water bottles, plenty of snacks, your repair kit and 1-2 inner tubes.

The Big Ass Ride is a nice mixture of pavement, gravel and a bit of technical over about 140km. There’ll be a convenience store about 40km away, 1 feed zone offered by Country Road Delights and La Coccinelle Sans Gluten at the halfway point, as well as a convenience store about 40km from the end. Bring some cash with you. Starting from Rigaud, you’ll climb Bourget, a matter of warming up your body fairly quickly, thank you! There’s a section in a 4 wheeler trail, a bit technical, but not too much! Don't forget to bring 2-3 water bottles, snacks, your repair kit and 1-2 inner tubes.

Upon your return go see Cardinal Brewing with your beer glass for a cold brew while your bike is getting washed by Vélo Station. Hungry? Lunch boxes will be served by Le Mounton Café.
