A little deception can be forgiven in the pursuit of love. In this charming and graceful comedy, a countess pretends to be more innocent than she really is to catch the eye of a wealthy man. This lovely comedy began Mozart’s career in opera and is filled with youthful high spirits and an abundance of catchy and tuneful arias.

Performances will also be presented live to a limited in-person audience. They will be sung with orchestra and socially distanced to protect both the musicians and audience. The ticket link for the live in-person event can be found below.

Ticket Cost

Virtual Livestream: Free; however, RSVP is required.

General Admission Seating (In-Person): $20 Adult; $15 Alumni, Faculty/Staff, Senior; $10 Student. All tickets will incur online ticketing fees. Fees will be calculated at checkout and will not exceed $3.00 per ticket. Purchase tickets for the Live, In-Person event here.

How to View the Virtual Livestream

Reserve free Virtual Livestream tickets by clicking the orange "Select a Date" button on this page, select your desired date, add a general admission ticket to your cart, and proceed to the checkout.

You will receive a confirmation email upon checkout and up to 3 subsequent reminder emails; one 2 days before the event, one 2 hours before the event, and one approximately 10 minutes before the event. Each email will contain a link to the online event page where you may view the performance. If you do not see your confirmation or reminder emails in your inbox, search for "Eventbrite" and be sure to check your junk or promotional folders.

To view the event, click any of the orange "View the Event" or "Join the Event" links in your confirmation or reminder emails. Be sure you are logged in to Eventbrite using the email address you used when claiming tickets. If you cannot find your confirmation or reminder emails, simply go to Eventbrite.com, click "Sign In" and login using the email address you used to claim your ticket. If you do not have a password set up, Eventbrite will email you a link to create a password. Once logged in, you will be able to view all tickets associated with your email address and will be able to navigate to the event.
