Starters

 

Homemade Mediterranean Bread, made with sun dried tomatoes and rosemary, served with our alliolis

 

Avocado Salad, dressed with a fine herb mustard, soy and honey vinaigrette

 

Mushrooms on Toast, homemade bread topped with creamy, mushrooms in a sherry, parsley & parmesan cheese sauce

 

Soufflé Suissesse, our version of Albert Roux’s cheese souffle, served at the Le Gavroche since 1965

 

Goats Cheese, baked with sun dried tomatoes and served on a bed of lettuce with pine nuts and drizzled with honey vinaigrette


Main Course

 

Bean croquette, bean croquette, made with pinto and butter beans with malaga wine, roast aubergine and moorish spices, crumbed, baked and served with a delicious ginger sauce

 

Mushroom Basket, creamymushrooms with onion, cheese & a hint of garlic, baked in a puff pastry basket

 

VegetableCurry, made with an aromatic spice mix, tamarind and a touch of mint, served with basmati rice

 

Lentils in a Tomato & Coriander Sauce with a hint of fresh chilli, root vegetables & served with a herby dumpling

 

Desserts

 

Christmas Pudding, served with double cream. Our own recipe using 18 ingredients, traditionally there are 13 for Jesus & the disciples, ours is more up to date & includes one for his solicitor, bank manager, accountant, investment manager and personal trainer

 

Apple & Mincemeat Tart, baked in a pâte brisée crust & served with honey yogurt and dusted with icing sugar

 

Coffee Crème Brûlée, decadently rich coffee custard, topped with crisp caramel & finished with tia maria sauce

 

Baileys Cheesecake, new york style baked cheesecake with baileys and served drizzled with baileys sauce

 

Boozy Chocolate & Raisin Cake, chocolate & almond cake topped with drunken raisins & a dark amaretto chocolate ganache

 

Vanilla Ice Cream & Drunken Raisins, plump raisins soaked in Pedro Ximénez wine
