La Cocina’s 6th Annual Food & Entrepreneurship Conference
This year, on November 8th, we will discuss how food, urbanization, and the rising costs that we see here in San Francisco are trending in cities across the globe, and raise questions for a diverse, healthy ecosystem of food entrepreneurship. We will discuss what makes small brands and owner operator restaurants so critical for a vibrant, healthy food economy, with a special focus on hosting workshops that share best practices for food entrepreneurs & supporters to continue to thrive as cities grow.
This year we already have confirmed owners of Tartine, the Director of Sustainability from Raley's, Whole Foods, Blue Bottle, a Chief Labor and Advocacy expert from DC, and many more
For the past 5 years, food entreprenuers, top chefs, thought leaders, and tastemakers have gathered together to examine the simple question: how do we make good food, in a good way? We're excited to have you back for 2015.
Just has the artisanal food movement has grown, so has our conference! This year, we will be at a brand new location, and will have two days of events.

La Cocina is a ground-breaking business incubator designed to reduce the obstacles that often prevent low-income food entrepreneurs from creating successful and sustainable small businesses. By providing affordable, shared, commercial kitchen space, an array of industry-specific technical assistance and services, and access to market opportunities and access to capita, La Cocina works with entrepreneurs as they launch, grow, and formalize successful food businesses.
