La Casa de Don Pedro is an approved HUD counseling agency and Charter Member of Neighborworks America. Our counselor has over 10 years of experience in the Housing Counseling Sector. We are certified in Financial Coaching, Credit Counseling and First Time Homebuyer Education and Counseling. The class will provide you with unbiased information about the process of buying your BIGGEST ASSET, A HOME. Homeownership stabalizes communities and builds wealth!! Take advantage of today's historically low interest mortgage rates. Many lenders offer incentives for First Time Buyers such as no private mortgage insurance, low down payment and down payment assistance program. In order to take advantage of the incentives a HUD certified counseling class is required by many lenders. Our class not only provides the education needed but will help you invest in your future by guiding you through the process and making sure you work with the best team possible to make HOMEOWNESHIP a reality for you!

Our homebuyer education program will help prepare you for the responsibilities of homeownership, and empower buyers on how to make smart decisions throughout the home buying process.
A certificate of completion will be issued after attending your individual counseling session.

Please note this is an adult only class and there is no childcare available. Payments are non-refundable unless a request for cancellation is received prior to the scheduled class date. Upon request you may apply the registration fee to a future class.
