L2S Women's Obstacle course race training

Let's train for an obstacle course race!!
Have you always wanted to try a mud run or obstacle race? Or maybe you have a handful under your belt but want more formal training and support so that you can conquer the high walls, low crawls, mud, hills, monkey bars and other obstacles with confidence.
Join Life's 2 Short fitness for workouts at various parks, playgrounds and trails across the front range to work on fitness and build the skills needed to complete the course with minimal burpees (yes, burpees : ).
-----> These are twice weekly, on-going 60-90 minute workouts at different locations across the front range from March-September!!
Purchase a drop-in pass for $15 to try out a class or either a 10 or 20 class punch card to save $$$.

Tuesday, May 2nd:
North Table mountain Park, Golden
4 mile trail run including hill repeats to work on fitness and running mechanics and conquering those steep downhills with confidence!
Sat, May 6th:
FREE OCR workout with the Dirty Girl mud run at Road Runner sports! Special shopping discount and giveaways!!
Tuesday, May 9th:
4 mile coached trail run at Lair o the Bear park
Sunday, May 7th:
12:45-3pm (or stay as long as you want!)
OCR training workout with PCR fitness in Peyton CO. This facility has every full scale obstacle that you will encounter on a real OCR course. We will practice everything from the rope climb, high walls, tyrolene traverse, rigs, tire flips, barbed wire crawl and more!
We will setup a group carpool to drive down together and save gas $.
This workout requires an additional $5-10 donation to the facility.

Spartan race at Fort Carson Super and sprint!
Sunday, May 14th:
8am (park in Littleton, TBA)
Conquer those monkey bars and rigs! This workout is all about upper body and grip strength. We will also be bringing out rucks, sandbags and more for practice for those heavy carries + drills on the bars to build strength.
May 20th/May 21st:
No class. Get together with friends or other class participants and do one of the workouts posted on the Facebook group
go for a 5-6 mile trail run, adding 20 burpees every mile.
Sunday, May 28th:
Run through a mock course at Phillip S miller park including the stair climb, barbed wire crawl, cargo nets, steep hills, rope climb and more!
June/July schedule TBA
