Kwanzaa Kinara Make It and Take It Workshop an RSVP Event
A hands on multi media workshop where participants will learn about Kwanzaa and use their Kuumba (Creativity) to make Kwanzaa symbols, decorations, cards and gifts. Participants will be able to make a functioning Kinara (Candle Holder) out of wood that can be used to celebrate our only Pan-African celebration of Family, Community and Culture.
Come prepared to learn, have fun and make things. Materials will be included with your registration, but please bring an apron, scraps of fabric and other ornaments that can be used to enhance your Kinara.

Please RSVP by Saturday, November 19th, because space and supplies are limited. All wishing to attend and participate are encouraged to register in advance.
This workshop is open to youth and adults from 6 years old and up.
All participants will complete the workshop with a functioning Kwanzaa Kinara.
Cost for this event is $30.00 per person, $33.00 if paying through Eventbrite.com
