About this event
Join us to discover kusudama, a traditional Japanese paper sphere formed by paper folding. Kusudama, meaning “medicine ball,” originally served as holders for incense or potpourri, and uses a paper folding technique similar to origami. Today they’re used as decorations or gifts. During this three hour class, we will make 12 five-petaled stars used to create your own kusudama ball.
The cost is $35 and includes all of the materials to make your own kusudama ball. Reserve your spot through the Eventbrite link. This class is suggested for those 12 years of age or older, with good manual dexterity, attention span and patience.
Join us at our Excelsior store location for this class. Feel free to bring beverages or snacks to enjoy during our craft time.
*Please let us know via email if you are attending with others who registered separately so we can ensure your seating accommodates your group needs. Phenlassdesigns@gmail.com
