About this event
During Soviet occupation of Latvia, few resisted to comply with the regime. This is the story of one who did, Kurts Fridrihsons, who found a unique method through which to do so: art. With clever creations and spiritual teachings that harkened back to "lost Latvia" through charm and lightness, Fridrihsons became a model and inspiration for many who refused to accept the existing system. Join the EU Delegation and Embassy of Latvia for a special screening of this 78-minute documentary, followed by a discussion featuring the film's director and producer, Dzintra Geka, and Director of Foreign Policy in Focus, John Feffer.
Doors open at 6:15, with the screening starting at 6:30. The event is free, but reservation is required.
