Description
Kung Fu Suburbia: Cul-de-Sacrifice
A Rock and Roll Graphic Novel for the Stage
Written by Joe Giovannetti
Directed by Chad Eric Bergman
Nine years ago audiences witnessed one of the most popular productions in North Park Theatre's history, Kung Fu Suburbia...
This spring North Park Theatre has been collaborating with some of the greatest Chicago Storefront designers, musicians and choreographers in order to bring you the next part of the White Shadows’ story: Kung Fu Suburbia: Cul-de-Sacrifice.
A mother is dead. The gods bring their ancient grudge match to Earth. Downtown Naperville lies in ruins. Government agents, secret orders of ninja, marauding cosplayers, and the heads of certain nonprofit associations scramble to deal with the fallout. When the Earth's best defenses fracture and fall, the fate of balance and order on Earth lies with two sisters. Can they find the courage? Can they find the time? Can they hold onto their day jobs? And most importantly, who will answer the CUL-DE-SACRIFICE?
