About this event
Learn to make a wreath out of invasive tree killing kudzu on the Mount Vernon Trail. The kudzu was removed as part of the MLK Day of Service on January 16th. Click here to see a time-lapse video from the event.
Making a wreath is easy! No experience is necessary. We will use the already removed kudzu vines to create a wreath that can be enjoyed all year long. You'll get to make as many wreaths as you'd like to make. We have a lot of kudzu already cut and available for use.
We're raising funds to continue to improve the Mount Vernon Trail. This event is free, but to support our work, we are asking for a suggested donation of $30. The donation will keep our volunteers equipped with tools and supplies for future trail work.
