About Christopher Hollyday
Christopher Hollyday is an American jazz alto saxophonist known for his mastery of bebop and his early emergence as a leading young voice in jazz. After significant recording and touring success in the late 1980s and early 1990s, Hollyday later relocated to San Diego where he has been deeply involved in jazz education and performance. His recent recordings include Telepathy (2018) and Dialogue (2020). Hollyday’s performance in this series offers attendees an exclusive look at a live studio recording session—where professional audio/visual production meets spirited improvisation.
