Krautshop: Learn to Make Probiotic-Rich Fermented Sauerkraut

Learn techniques, tips, and recipes for creating your own healthy fermented sauerkraut for a fraction of the cost of store-bought. Chef Beth Love, author of the cookbook series Tastes Like Love, will share secrets for creating superb tasting sauerkraut that will make your microbiome happy! Here is what you will get in this hands-on workshop:

• Techniques for creating fabulous sauerkraut on a consistent basis

• The basic recipe plus ideas for numerous flavor variations

• Instruction in determining high quality ingredients

• The opportunity to practice all the required skills for making great kraut

• Instructions for creating your own half gallon fermentation kit complete with jar, weight, lid, and airlock

• Follow up technical assistance after the workshop

An ingredients and equipment list will be provided in advance of the workshop so you can gather what you need to make kraut along with the instructor. If you register no later than January 21, you will also receive an airlock and prepared lid for your kit via mail.

All ages welcome and encouraged to attend (and those 14 years and under are free).
