Part 1: Using Key Performance Indicators to manage your USDA Meal programs. Jean Ronnei, SNS, will present strategies and tools for using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to benchmark and set measurable goals for your USDA Meal Program performance. These tools can be used for strategic planning and budget planning for the upcoming school year. Register by January 10th to receive four KPIs specific to your district. Pro-Team will show how the past three years of data in key areas and how you can use this to drive program success.

Part 2: Using the Food Buying Guide: Whether you are planning, purchasing, portioning, or problem solving, mastery of the Food Buying Guide will turn this table into a powerful tool for your Child Nutrition Program. Elli Pace, MS, RD, LD will walk us through the Food Buying Guide and review/refresh how to use this tool to plan menus, plan your USDA Foods Allocation, and incorporate Farm to School foods and foods without a CN label into a fully compliant menu.
