Event description

Description

Join Olga Sorzano of Baba's Brew for an in-depth workshop on kombucha. Kombucha is a time-honored fermented drink that uses yeast and bacteria to turn tea into a fizzy, probiotic beverage. In this class, you will learn the basics of making kombucha, including how to concoct your favorite flavors using ingredients found in and around Philadelphia. Along the way, you'll hear the story of Olga's introduction to kombucha, which began with a family recipe from Siberia. Finally, enjoy generous samples of kombucha made from a variety of ingredients and ask questions so that you can feel more confident when making your own.
