Kombucha is a fermented and effervescent beverage brewed from sweetened tea with a multitude of health benefits. Homebrewing Kombucha is fun, creative, and rewarding. Join Jameson Henkle as he shares the finer points of brewing your own homemade Kombucha concoctions. A knock your socks off home brew must meet the four pillars of Kombucha: sweet, sour, effervescent, and delicious. This informative and informational workshop will walk you through each step of the brewing process from steeping to fermenting to bottling. Starter kits will be available for purchase in class, so that you too, can begin fermenting your own fizzy delicious beverages. Come and join Jameson while he shares one of his favorite hobbies and sets you up for Kombucha brewing success!
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
There are no age requirements to attend a cooking class, however we will occasionally serve alcohol in our cooking school and valid I.D. will be required to consume any alcoholic beverage in the Salud room. You may also purchase wine or beer from Whole Foods Market Fresno and bring into the classroom, as long as you have a valid I.D. Under no circumstances will outside alcoholic beverages be allowed in Whole Foods Market Fresno. Receipt of purchase may be requested.

If for some reason, we cannot obtain certain ingredients, we may substitute something different, but of the same quality and value.
What's the refund policy?
A full refund can be issued if requested AT LEAST 24 HOURS prior to the class. Under no circumstances will a transfer or refund be issued without 24 hours notice - no exceptions! However, we will accept a name transfer if you would like to fill your slot in the class with a friend, family member, or colleague.
