About The Event
Kokedama is a type of Japanese bonsai that developed out of the kusamono & neagari bonsai arts & encapsulates the Japanese aesthetic of Wabi-sabi. Kokedama are made by creating a special clay based soil that is balled around the roots of a plant & then wrapped in moss & tied. This class will teach you the history of kokedama as a form of bonsai art, about the aesthetic of wabi-sabi, & how to make and care for kokedama. You will leave with TWO kokedama featuring different plants.
This is an adult workshop. BYO drinks & snacks. 21+ to consume alcohol. Teens allowed when accompanied by an adult.

Ticket Details
Tickets are non-refundable but are transferrable to another person for the same date.
You may arrive 15 minutes early.
Minimum number of attendees is 4. Class will be canceled and a refund will be given if the minimum is not met. Class size is limited to 20. Please message through greenladygardens.com to inquire about private events or large groups.

There is a parking lot in front of our store. You must pay $3 CASH for parking with exact change in the box. Sorry, we cannot validate as we do not own the parking lot. Street parking on Sant Fe is free.
