About the Instructor:
Tree, a native of South Los Angeles, focuses on connecting wellness, nature, and healing by educating our community to be better stewards of the environment we share. As the grandchild of sharecroppers and farmers, Tree learned the importance of having access to nature and now shares those lessons by caring for plants across the country.
Now based in DC, Tree developed Out The Trunk: a community nursery and plant styling studio centered on making nature accessible and building confidence to grow and nurture plants at home. Whether through elaborate floral installations or large foliage, Tree’s commitment to sharing and encouraging life is evident in every project. From starting your plant journey to exploring new ways to grow, Tree will guide you in nurturing your garden and watching it bloom.
We look forward to building community with you. 🌱
