Description
Kokedama, or ‘moss-balls,’ are Japanese moss arrangements that have been popular for centuries, belonging within the “no-pot” garden form known as ne-arai. Consisting of a moss-covered ball of peat and a single plant, the simple yet impactful appearance will spruce up any section of your home. Kokedama can thrive indoors with regular watering.
Award-winning florist Takeshi Nakamura will teach this class on basic kokedama techniques of mixing soil and binding the roots. All participants will create a single arrangement and will receive a small ceramic plate to take home.
