About this Event

Jon Clark, founder of Kodiak Cakes, and Graduate of Park City Culinary Institute will tell the story of Kodiak Cakes and how to take a food product from inception to market. Kodiak Cake’s first product-line of flapjack and waffle mixes are now the second largest selling pancake mix in the US, just behind Aunt Jemima. Jon started Kodiak Cakes in 1994 and he will provide an in-depth look at product development, strategy, and marketing in the food industry. The workshop will be interactive with a Q&A and Jon will bring copies of his book The Story of Kodiak Cakes – 10 Lessons for Starting Your Own Business to give away.
